Mary Ruth (Phillips) Wolf

Mary was born to Gurnie and Cindy Belle Thomas Phillips, both of whom preceded her in death along with her husband, James Allen Wolf.

After graduating from high school, Mary spent majority of her working years as a Weaver in the textile industry at Cone Mills and Southern Webbing. Mary had a great fondness for Elvis and his music. She was an avid Avon bottle collector and loved spending time watching soap operas.

Left to cherish her memory is her son; Donald Scarborough and wife Jenell, grandchildren; Benjamin Scarborough, Emily Duncan, Isabella Scarborough, Anabella Riera-Coronel; great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Hailey and Ryan Duncan.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 West Gate City Blvd, Greensboro, NC with Pastor Douglas Smith officiating. A visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. Entombment to follow in Guilford Memorial Park Mausoleum after the service.
