Mrs. Jean Watterson Holliday

Mrs. Jean Segar Watterson Holliday, 84, a resident of the Guilford College community died Saturday October 2, 2010 at the Countryside Manor in Stokesdale. She was born August 19, 1926 in Hibbs, PA, a daughter of John and Marie Rebo Segar.

Mrs. Holliday was a longtime member of Guilford Baptist Church. She was married to William “Bill” Henry Watterson who preceded her in death. She later was married to Robert S. Holliday who died in March of 2010. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a brother, John Segar.

Surviving are three daughters, Donna Jean Kopacka and husband Sam of Jacksonville, FL, Yvonne Joyce Hensley and husband Doug of Nathalie, VA, Deborah Lynn Jones and husband Larry of Stokesdale and her faithful canine companion, “Peedro”.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel 6000 High Point Rd., Greensboro, NC 27407 conducted the Reverend Dr. C. Paul Willis. Interment will follow in Westminster Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
