A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 15, 2016 at 11:00a.m. at First Presbyterian Memorial Chapel with Rev. David Partington officiating. Interment will follow at Westminster Gardens Cemetery.
He was born on May 4, 1926 in Scranton, PA to the late Andrew and Jessie Lewis Kehrli. He attended Lehigh University where he majored in Mechanical Engineering. He was a US Navy, Veteran of WWII. Henry worked at Western Electric (now AT&T) for more than thirty years.
He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers, Jaycees and the YMCA. Henry was very active at River Landing in sports and the band.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Jeanne K. Davies; and his wife of 58 years, Lucy Davies Kehrli. He is survived by his children, Gregory Kehrli and wife Christine B. of Colfax; daughter, Nancy V. Whichard and husband Edward A. of Stokes, NC; grandchildren, Richard Drew Kehrli, Henry J. Kehrli, Stephanie Poston, David C. Kehrli, Judson S. Whichard and Clara L. Whichard; great grandchildren, Abigail S. Kehrli, Victoria Whichard, Mason Kehrli and Samuel Kehrli, Jordan Kehrli and Vandelyn Kehrli: sister Marilyn Thomas; brothers, Robert Kehrli and George Kehrli, and special friend Jo Goldston.
Friends will be received on Sunday, February 14, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Hanes Lineberry N. Elm Chapel.
