Gregory Martin Van Dyke, 76, died Thursday, October 5, 2023. Born February 13, 1947 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, he was the son of the late Martin and Frances Van Dyke. He is predeceased by his brother Douglas Van Dyke and is survived by his brother Frederick Van Dyke and his sister Gail McKay. He is survived by his wife Nora Van Dyke, his step-daughter Lynda Engler, his three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Gregory attended Northern Valley Regional High School in Old Tappan, NJ and after serving in Vietnam, he graduated from Ramapo College in Mahwah, NJ.
A service with military honors will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 27, at Salisbury National Cemetery, Salisbury, North Carolina. A gathering will be held from 12-2 p.m., Saturday, October 28, at Hanes Lineberry North Elm Chapel in the Lineberry Center.
