Earl Kenneth Anderson

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at Newlyn Street United Methodist Church at 2:30 pm. Interment will follow at Westminster Gardens Cemetery.

Ken was born in Harlan County, KY on May 30, 1931 to the late William V. Anderson and Ethel Cottrell Anderson. He served in the US Marine Corp and was a member of Newlyn Street United Methodist Church. Ken was a wholesale route salesman for Flavorich Dairies.

Ken is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Fern Bouyer Anderson; son, Michael Keith Anderson, Sr. and wife Leslie of Greensboro: brothers, Jimmy Anderson and wife Linda, Dan Anderson and wife Shirley; and sister, Sondra Allred and husband Tommy; grandchildren, Kelli, Karla and Keith, Jr.; and two aunts Edith and Burnett Cottrel.

The family will visit with friends on Monday, February 21, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Hanes Lineberry N. Elm Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Newlyn Street United Methodist Church, or to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Avenue Greensboro, NC 27405 in his memory.
