Diane Hall

Diane Hege Hall was born March 4, 1944 In Winston-Salem, NC to Herman Russell and Marie Lindsey Hege. She graduated from Gray High School in 1962 and went on to attend Elon College. It was at Elon where she met Ray Hall who would become the love of her life. Married on April 24, 1965, Diane and Ray enjoyed 58 years together making memories through their love of travel, spending time with their friends, raising their son and enjoying their grandkids. Diane worked for many years for the Guilford County Schools System as a Cafeteria Manager. She enjoyed her work and it fit her personality of always wanting to take care of others. Diane never met a stranger and she was always willing to help a friend. Her kindness and loving spirit will be remembered by anyone who knew her.

She died June 4, 2023 in the Care and Wellness Center at WhiteStone, a Masonic and Eastern Star Community, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.

She is survived by her husband Ray Hall, son Eric Hall (Laura) of Cary, NC and grandchildren Grayson Hall and Sarah Hall of Cary, and her beloved shih tzu Sophie

Memorial service will be held Saturday June 17 at 2:00 PM in the Tommy Jones Chapel at WhiteStone. A reception will be held in the Linville activity room following the service.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Care and Wellness Center, particularly LaTisha, Shay and Keesha, and also the staff of Authoracare for their loving care and support during Diane's last days.
