Colin Marne Snyder died of complications from pancreatic cancer early in the morning of October 2, 2022. After serving in the Air Force, Colin obtained a degree at Southern Methodist University in Electrical Engineering. He then had a 28 year career with AT&T, primarily in Winston-Salem, NC.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Susan V. Snyder, his children, Karin Solomonson (Chad), Glenn Snyder (Jonni), Amanda Krueger (Kurt), and Hunter Bray. He was predeceased by his son, Alex Snyder. He was also an amazing Gramps to Emily Sandoval (Carlos), Boden Solomonson, Tayson Snyder, Cooper Krueger, and Sloane Krueger.
Colin was born in Palmerton, PA, the youngest of 8 children, survived by one brother, Rodney Snyder (Shirley) and preceded in death by mother, Minnie (Cunfer) Snyder and father, Clayton Snyder. His predeceased sisters include: Frances Deganich, June Bubick, Betty Sterling, and Jeanette Hartman and brothers, Winfield Snyder and Thomas Snyder.
He was extremely proud of his entire family, and they will certainly miss him deeply. Education was very important to him, so in lieu of flowers, please make a donation in his name to a school that is important to you.
A casual celebration of Colin’s life will be held Saturday, October 8 from 2:00-4:00 at The Grande Clubhouse, 4905 Towne Ridge Dr., Greensboro 27455.
