Anne Marie Shea Buron

A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, January 21, at 11:00 AM , at Saint Pius the Tenth Catholic Church, 2210 North Elm Street. Interment will be arranged at a later date in Paxton, Massachusetts.

Anne was born March 12, 1934, in New York City, NY, to the late Edward and Marion Shea. She attended Stella Maris High School, the Kathryn Gibbs School and Queens College in NY. She began her career in New York at the Wall Street firms of Smith, Barney and White, Weld. After marrying and moving to Worcester, Massachusetts, she served for many years as the executive assistant to the CEO of Idlewild Foods. After retiring in 2005 she and her husband moved to Greensboro where she was active as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Pius the Tenth Church and enjoyed socializing with many of her new friends and neighbors in the Triad.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Buron was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Anne. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Robert W. Buron; sons, John Buron of Warwick, RI, and James Buron of Greensboro; grandchildren, Conner Buron and Haley Buron of Greensboro, Frieda Capano and great-grandson Charlie Capano of Marshfield, MA. She is also survived by her brothers, Edward Shea of Darien, CT, and William Shea of Boston, MA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Pius the Tenth Church, 2210 North Elm Street, Greensboro, NC 27408.
