Born in Greensboro, North Carolina, a daughter of the late Edward "Eddie" Whitfield, she resided in Greensboro and the surrounding area her entire life. Angie leaves behind two sisters, Laura Lee Whitfield and Valerie Whitfield Grimm (Eric); aunt, Judith Daughtry (Tim); uncle, Michael Whitfield (Patsy); niece Rachel Grimm; nephew, Casey Grimm; cousin, Jacob Fine; devoted friend, Tricia Nowe, Christy Trippett and Marty Ballew.
Following graduation from Page High School, she went to GTCC and UNC-G School of Nursing. Angie was a dedicated and talented nurse. She worked in critical care, hospice and home health throughout her career.
A celebration of life service for Angie will be held Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home, 515 N Elm St, Greensboro, North Carolina 27401. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Memorial donations in Angie's honor may be made to the American Cancer Society and AuthoraCare Collective Hospice of Greensboro.
