William Charles Cody

Bill was a landscaper and attended St. James Lutheran Church. He was a loving, son, father, brother, and uncle.

He is survived by daughter, Caroline (Brian) Shelton; parents, Frankie and Kendall Bowers; siblings, Janet Cody and Jason Bowers, special nieces and nephews, Kandi (Cody), Alex, Aden and Andy Hopson; and special friends, Michelle Barefield and Holly Kurtzo.

He is preceded in death by father, Bill Cody; grandparents, Pearl and Charles Cody and Frank and Anna Mae Shelton; nephew, Noah Rader, and special friend Carrie LaPolt.

Visitation will be held 5-7 Friday, January 14, 2022 at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home with funeral service to follow in the chapel at 7:00pm with Rev. Chris Castle. Interment will be held at 10:00am Saturday at St. James Lutheran Church Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 9:00am to go in procession to the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Shane Devoti, Jason Bowers, Christopher Easterly, Cody Hopson, Al Romanowski, and Mike Stone.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Alex, Aden and Andy Hopson, Stan Williams, Bobby Winter, and Don Strong.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
