Virginia Shelton

She was employed at Durham Hensley Nursing as a dietary aide and also a member of Oak Grove Free Will Baptist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved cats and bird watching and also enjoyed camping and reading.

She is survived by two sons: Danny Shelton and Eric (Myra) Shelton; grandchildren: Michael (Jennifer), Crystal, Kasey and Kaleb; great grandchildren: Kaylee, Morgan, Blake, Jayden, Camber, Matthew, Sadie; sister, Joyce Goodyear; brother, Bobby Henry and a special friend, Nancy Wilhoit.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earnie Shelton and her parents, Robert and Frances Henry.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Sunday, November 19, at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home with the funeral service following at 8:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Jeremiah Lewis will officiate.

Interment will be conducted Monday at 11:00 am at Stone Dam Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home Monday at 10:00 am to go in procession to the cemetery. Pallbearers will be Phil Ball, Eric Shelton, Kaleb Shelton, Kasey Shelton and Noah Southerland.
