Shirley H. Wilkes

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Linford Wilkes, Sr. Together they have one son, Linford Wilkes, Jr. (Andy); one daughter and son-in-law, Catherine and Allen Shelton; three grandchildren: Tracie (Matt) Baines, Justin Ricker, and Joshua Ricker; five great grandchildren: Peyton Lawing, Paisley Baines, Nova, River, and Capell Ricker; special family member, Sarah Brooks; and beloved pet, Princess.

She is one of seven sisters: Peggy Dively, Carmen Elder, Faye Smith, Mae Howard, June Richard, and Judy Jensen. She also has six brothers: James Howard (PI), Wilbur Howard, Jr. (Sonny), Thomas Howard (Tommy), Nick Howard, Jack Howard, and Charles Howard.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur Howard, Sr. and Lillian Sago Ditch.

The family will receive friends 5:00-8:00 pm Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 am Thursday at River Hill Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home at 9:00 am to go in procession to the cemetery. Rev. Gene Nanton will officiate.

Pallbearers are Allen Shelton, Justin Ricker, Joshua Ricker, David Shumaker, David Shumaker, and Peyton Lawing.
