Peggy Joann Henderson

She was a retired employee of Air Maze and a member of Oak Dale Union Church of Limestone. She was a member of Widows on a Journey and was a Foster Grandparent with Greene County School Systems.

Peggy is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Tonnya and Joe Woods of Limestone; one son and daughter-in-law, Glenn and Dagny McAmis; grandchildren, Lisa McAmis, Jodie McAmis, Tyler and Hannah Laws, Dylan Laws, Veronica and Cody Harvey and, Brooke Woods; great-grandchildren, Alexis Taylor, Morgan Taylor, Austin Shelton, Palmer (PJ) Laws and Libby Harvey. Also surviving are, brothers, Jimmy and Joy Belt, Bruce and Twyla Belt, Leon and Teresa Williams and Curtis and Janie Honeycutt; two sisters, Janie Norton and Lisa and Bobby Hilton as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was the daughter of the late Sam Belt and Lucille Gray Mitchell. She was preceded in death by a step-mother, Freda Belt, her husband, Steve Henderson; a daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Charles Dotson and special dog, Rascal.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 1 – 3 pm and 5 – 7 pm at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Mike Woodward officiating.

Interment will be on Tuesday at 11 am in River Hill Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10 am Tuesday, to go in procession to the cemetery

Pallbearers are Glenn McAmis, Tyler Laws, Cody Harvey, Austin Shelton, and Joe Woods.
