She was retired from Life Care Center of Greeneville.
She was a member of Faith Temple Church. She loved the Lord and her family. She loved growing flowers, especially roses.
She is survived by her children, one daughter and son-in-law: Debby and William Collins of Whitesburg; two sons and a daughter-in-law: David and Brenda Dean of Russellville, , and Bobby Dean of Greeneville; two granddaughters: Jacqueline Dean Darnell and Landon of Greeneville and Nikki Russell and Shaun of Morristown; three grandsons: Chris Hancock of Whitesburg, Kenny Hancock and Rachel of Morristown, and Derrick Coffey of Russellville; nine great grandchildren; a special niece: Kay Triplett and Steve of Mountain City; a special family dog: Sam; numerous friends, including: Rev. Gary and Patricia Radar, Rev. Tommy and Sandra Collins, Phoebe Morgan, Andy, Cheryl, and Amanda Seal, Shirley Smith and family, her neighbors (Floyd and Joyce Gray), and Annette Payne; brothers-in-law: Donald and Mable Dean and Johnny Hal; sisters-in-law: Kathy Dean, Lena and Richard Jones, Jeanette Dean, and Juanita Harrison; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years: Kenneth Dean in 2011; parents: Carl and Lena Babb; sister, Marie Crumley; grandson: Dusty Coffey; three brothers-in-law: Rev. James Dean, William Bill Dean, and Roy Merle Dean; and a sister-in-law: JoAnn Murdock.
The family will receive friends from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Tommy Collins officiating.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
