She retired from Laughlin Memorial Hospital.
She was a member of Hardin's Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughter: Sharon Cox Hensley; daughter-in-law: Betty Cox, with whom she made her home; two grandchildren: Katrina Michelle Hensley and Chris Cox; four great grandchildren: Damarian Paul Story, Diamond Brown, Zaylee Cox, and Mason Cox; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Leroy Cox; son and his wife: Gar Cox and Kathy Couch; son: Mickey "Bear" Cox; and her parents: Dave Deyton and Josephine Taylor Deyton.
The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Friday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Troy Cutshall officiating.
Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in Hardin's Chapel Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Deyton, Hobbie Dotson, Jerry Dan Deyton, Patrick Beard, and her friends.
