She will be remembered as a devout Christian, prayer warrior, and her unwavering faith in our Lord.
Marilyn was born on July 14, 1935, in Mascot, TN to Carl Edward and Vandora Tarpley Curtis. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 57 years, William “Bill” Anstee, an infant daughter, Karen Marie Anstee; one brother, six sisters, and two daughters-in-law: Lilliane and Rita.
She is survived by two sons, Jay Anstee and Kevin Anstee (Lynne); a daughter, Sonja Lamb (Terry); one granddaughter, Eve Anstee; four grandsons: Ian Anstee, Frank Anstee, Eric Anstee, and Will Lamb (Jessica); one great granddaughter, Ava Anstee; several nieces, nephews, and special friends.
The family will receive friends 1:00-2:00 pm Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm. Rev. Tommy Collins will officiate. Interment will then take place at River Hill Cemetery.
