She was a homemaker and a member of Hartman's Chapel United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Parham’s grandchildren affectionately called her “Mammy”. She enjoyed mowing her yard and working in her flowers.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law: Cindy and Alan Luttrell and Beth and Chris Ricker of Greeneville; two sons and daughters-in-law: Milton and Diane Parham and Marty and Linda Parham of Mosheim; grandchildren: Chelsea York and husband, Matt, Rachel Luttrell, Ansley Ricker, Alora Ricker, David, Macy, Marinda, C. J. and Kali Parham; a sister: Vida Myers of Mosheim; one brother and sister-in-law: Dewey and Mildred Seay of Mosheim; brothers-in-law: Curtis Parham of Knoxville and Joel Parham of Athens, Tennessee; sister-in-law: Phyllis Parham of Chattanooga; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was the daughter of the late Bruce and Nuckie Hartman Seay and was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, James W. “Pete” Parham; an infant brother; and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 pm Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The body will be taken to the church to lie in state for 30 minutes preceding the funeral service.
The funeral service will be held at 3 pm Wednesday at Hartman's Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Fain and Pastor Don Petty officiating.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Danny Myers, David Myers, Mike Seay, Josh Myers, Isaac Myers, John Alex Myers, and Eddie Hartman.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the congregation of Hartman's Chapel UM Church.
