Lucy Mae Weems King

Lucy Mae Weems King, 73, of Greeneville, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2018 at Laughlin Memorial Hospital.

She retired from Magnavox.

Mrs. King was a member of Crossroads Assembly of God Church in Rogersville.

She was a loving wife and most precious mother and grandmother and was loved by all who knew her.

Survivors include four children and their spouses: Debbie and Jay House, Tony and Jennifer King, Angelia and Cruz Alcantara, and Michael and Tracy King; nine grandchildren: Chad House, Jesse House, Kandi Morgan, Kaci Ugo, Cody Cordwell, KyLea Cordwell, April Gilliam, Leyla Garland and Sarah King; great grandchildren: Ethan House, Eli House, Brody House, Evan House, Novalee House, Scilar Morgan, Micah Cordwell, Lynnix Cordwell, Abbigail Gilliam, and Colt Gilliam; three sisters: Pat Shelton, Jean Hinkle, and Darnell Tolliver; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Herbert and Melva King; four sisters-in-law: Nancy Feezell, Nellie Swatzell, Betty Starnes, Kathy Foshie; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years: Milburn King; parents, Clomer and Ethel Weems; and sister, Mary Ragon.

The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Stephen Kimery officiating.

Interment will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday in Fairview Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 9:00 a.m. Thursday to go in procession to the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Chad House, Jesse House, Cody Cordwell, Denny Tolliver, Anthony Tolliver, Wes Hinkle, and Shawn Gilliam.

The family wishes to express a special thanks to Dr. Philip Thwing, Krissie Silvers, Angie Wampler, and the staff of Durham Hensley Health and Rehabilitation.
