Lillian Kiker Taylor, 84, formerly of the Debusk Community passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, April 30, 2010 at her home on Lonesome Pine Trail where she lived with her daughter and son-in-law, Billie and Steve Parker.
She retired from the George C. Moore Company of Greeneville and NC in 1990 after 35 years of service. She was a lifelong Christian and recently attended Susong Memorial Church and Grace Fellowship Church as long as her health permitted.
She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother.
Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law: Linda Reagan of Irvine, KY, Billie and Steve Parker of Greeneville and Paula and Danny Charlton also of Greeneville; three granddaughters and grandsons-in-law: Rhonda and James Walton of Irvine, KY, Kenda and Reverend Jim Bunch of Greeneville and Jennifer and Robert Keller of Greeneville; one grandson and granddaughter-in-law: Keith and Patty Reagan of Machesney Park, IL; two great grandsons: Parker Bunch of Greeneville and Ryan Walton of Irvine, KY; three great granddaughters: Mallary Reagan of Machesney Park, IL, Reagan Bunch and Kambell Keller of Greeneville; one special sister and brother-in-law: Frances and Rex Harrison of Greeneville; two brothers: Luther Kiker and J.B. Kiker and his wife, Louise, also of Greeneville; two sisters-in-law: Lora Kiker and Geneva Taylor; numerous nieces and nephews; four special friends: Laura Hazelhurst, Maxine Jones, MariAnn Taylor and Alfreda Dixon all of Greeneville; two special medical professionals: James Leslie and Julie James both of Amedysis Hospice.
She was the daughter of the late Calvin and Maude Holt Kiker and was preceded in death by her husband, Paul W. Taylor; a sister, Mabel Lewis and a brother, William Kiker.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 3, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with interment to follow at Bewley’s Chapel Cemetery. The Rev. Jim Bunch and the Rev. Sam Smith will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Keith Reagan, James Walton, Eddie Harmon, Gene Harrison, Bryan Harrison, Mike Harrison and Robert Collins.
The family will receive friends at Kiser- Rose Hill Funeral Home from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Sunday and from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Monday preceding the funeral service. Online condolences may be sent to the Taylor family at www.kiserrosehillfuneralhome.com.
