She was a former employee of Hamilton Bank and a homemaker.
She was a Christian and a member of Bowmantown Baptist Church, where she had served as a Sunday School teacher, pianist, and organist.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years: C. Joseph Campbell; one daughter and son-in-law: Kimberly and Eric Bailey; two grandchildren: Alyssa Bailey and Gavin Bailey; one brother-in-law and wife: Wayne and Sherry Campbell; one sister-in-law: Gail Broyles; niece: Nancy Harrison and husband, Shane; nephews: Heath Broyles and wife, Mitzi, Keith Broyles and wife, Hillary, and Jesse Campbell and wife, Jordan; several great nieces and great nephews; and special aunt: Ruby Broyles.
She is the daughter of the late Lee and Mildred Scott Broyles. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jackie Lynn Broyles, and an infant sister.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 4 – 7 pm at Bowmantown Baptist Church.
The funeral service will be at 2 pm Sunday at Bowmantown Baptist Church with Rev. Josh Grizzle officiating.
Entombment will follow in Washington County Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
Pallbearers will be Heath Broyles, Keith Broyles, Jesse Campbell, Buddy Broyles, Larry Shanks, and Mike Southerland.
Honorary pallbearers will be Shane Harrison and Ross Scott.
The family would like to thank Dr. David Moulton, Dr. Chakraborty, and staff at the Regional Cancer Center in Johnson City.
