James Robert Waddell

James was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in Vietnam; who enjoyed riding motorcycles as long as his health permitted.

He is survived by a son, James (Lisa) Waddell; four grandchildren, Courtney (Chris) Bennett, Benjamin Waddell, Jesse Waddell and Aly (Brandon) Landers; six great grandchildren, Aiden Clark, Brennan, Paxton, Canaan, Aurora and Tobias Bennett. He is also survived by a brother Robert (Linda) Waddle, a sister, Starlette (Michael) Tester and several nieces and nephews.

James was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Ruby Waddle and an infant daughter, Lakota Waddell.

There will be no formal visitation, however, a military graveside service will be conducted by Greene County Honor Guard and TN National Guard Honors Team on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at 2 pm, in Liberty Freewill Baptist Cemetery, with Aaron Waddle officiating.
