He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the rank of corporal in a noncombatant capacity.
He was a faithful servant of his Lord Jesus and now awaits the resurrection of the just.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Doris; parents, George and Claudia Turner; brother, William Turner; half-sisters, Darlene Hagan and Dora Smith; and nephew, Joe Hagan.
He is survived by his wife, Helen; step children, Robert Thomas and Charlene Masson; nephews, John and Jerry Hagan; niece, Lynda Draper; grand-nieces Sheila Draper and Pamela Nerness; nephews, Joe and Roy Smith; and niece, Wanda Fuqua.
The family will receive friends 1-2 p.m. Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Alex Sarria officiating.
Interment will follow in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
