He retired from the U.S. Postal Service.
He was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church.
Mr. Huff loved to farm and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years: Virginia “Mysinger” Huff; son and daughter-in-law: Michael and Holly Huff; four special grandchildren: Steven and Tara Huff, and Kalum and Hannah Hensley; one special great grandson: Denver Huff; five nieces and nephews: Don and Grace White, Bobby Bird, Doris and Doug Temple, Sammy and Charlene Bird, Tim and Angie Smithson; and four great nieces and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents: L.M. and Nell Huff; a sister and brother-in-law: Juanita and Romane Smithson; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Pearl and Robert Mysinger; sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Sam and Luster Bird; a niece: Glenda Bird; and a special daughter-in-law: Pam Huff.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home preceding the funeral service at 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Jim Fillers and Lee Harr will officiate.
Interment will follow at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at River Hill Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home to go in procession to the committal service.
His pallbearers will be Donald Dean Miller, Tommy Miller, Todd Bird, Robert Wilhoit, Craig Bowlby, and Benjy Ryans.
The staff at Mountain Home CLC will serve as honorary pallbearers.
The Greene County Honor Guard and the Tennessee National Guard will conduct a military graveside service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the River Hill Cemetery Fund, in care of Edward Johnston, 110 Cooter Way, Greeneville, TN 37743.
