Mr. Gibson retired from Parker Hannifin after 31 years.
He was a member of Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Chruch.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years: Patsy Gibson; son and daughter–in–law: L.T. and Teresa Gibson; grandsons: Joel and Isaac Gibson; special nieces: Susan Tyler and Kim Shipley; a friend, who was like a brother: Rick Madden and wife, Beverly; and a special sister-in-law: Judy Jackson.
He was preceded in death by a son: Ronnie Gibson; father and mother: Tyler and Doshie Gibson; two brothers: Dean and Joe Gibson; and two sisters: Hazel Vaughn and Bobbie Bales.
Visitation will be 2–4 and 6–8 pm Saturday, March 9k at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday at Kiser Rose Hill Chapel. Rev. Doyle Pruett and Rev Billy Gragg will officiate.
Interment will follow in Hardin’s Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
