She was a longtime employee of Flowers Bakery. Mrs. Ricker was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Alfred Ricker; children, Charles Ricker of Morristown, Joyce Frye and husband, Bruce, of Talbott, Dan Ivey and wife, Diane, of Xenia, Ohio, Steve Ivey and wife, Cherrie, of Bean Station; nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and two brothers, Albert Patty and Robert Patty of Kenosha, Wisconsin.
She was the daughter of the late Perry and Martha Patty and was preceded in death by two sons, Don and Stanley Ivey; also three brothers and two sisters.
The funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 6, 2012, in the Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel. Rev. Jimmy Norris will officiate. Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Willis Ricker, FayLynn Ricker, Warren Ricker, Jess H. Wilhoit, Roger Shelton, Larry Freshour and Lynn Henderson.
The family would like to express their thanks to Dr. Rajeev Gupta and the nursing staff, especially Unit 3, at the Heritage Center for their care and compassion.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday preceding the funeral service at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home in Greeneville. Family and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery for the committal service.
