He was disabled.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law: Debbie and Steve Wilhoit of Mosheim and Edna and Jake Bible of Parrottsville; son and daughter-in-law: Terry and Jamie Shipley of Morristown; five grandchildren: Melissa Reece and husband, Gary, Stephanie Garmer and husband, David, Billy Shipley and wife, Candi, Jessica Bible, and Kristen Wilhoit; great grandchildren: Calysta, Jazzlyn, and Connor Garmer, Daniel and Marissa Tweed, Daniel Reece, Isaiah Reece, and Ava Reece; and special friends: Johnny Myers, Scott Dykes, Louise Monk, Beverley Myers, Dustin and Tonya England, and Charles Penny.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian M. Keasling Shipley and his parents, Alonzo and Edna Shipley.

He was proud of his family.

The family will receive friends from 5pm-7pm Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Milburn Shelton officiating.

Interment will be at 10:00 am Thursday in Jackson’s Chapel Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at 9:00 am Thursday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery for the graveside service.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
