Bobby Shaw

Bobby Dean Shaw, age 88, of 107 cutoff, Afton, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at Lifecare Center. He worked at Fort Wayne Leasing, retired from Greene Co. Highway Department and was a lifelong farmer.

He attended Horse Creek Church of God. He was a member of the Horse Creek Rook Club.

He was a loving and caring father and grandfather who set a good example for other people with his honesty and dependability. He was a good natured man who never spoke a bad word about anyone.

He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law: Sarah and Jr. Reedy; two sons: Don French and Phil French; special grandchild: Bobbie Lavon Reedy; sisters-in-law: Linda O’Dell and Glorianna O’Dell; very special niece: Pat Key; numerous other special nieces and nephews; great nephews: Eddie Key, and Lee Key; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his wife: Earline O’Dell Shaw; parents: Edgar and Geneva Shaw and one brother: Billy Shaw.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8pm Friday at Kiser-Rose Hill. The funeral service will be at 12:00 pm on Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Chapel with Mary Jane Farmer CPL officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Tabor.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
