Blanche Hazel Bailey

She was a retired employee of Hurd Lock Corp. and was a homemaker.

Mrs. Bailey was a lifelong member of Liberty FreeWill Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law: Mike and Linda Bailey of Greeneville; granddaughter and husband: Heather and Rusty Franklin of Chuckey; a great grandson: Cameron Bowman; a step great grandson: Alex Franklin; a niece and husband: Pat and Jim Pickering of the Lamar community; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Roy Lee and Hontas Bailey of Jonesborough; two sisters-in-law: Nell Bailey and Blanche I. Bailey; and several nieces and nephews.

She was the daughter of the late Nathaniel and Hattie Adams Hammer and was preceded in death by her husband, Ross Bailey; one son, Larry Ross Bailey; two brothers, Edward Hammer and Lawrence Hammer.

The funeral servcie will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 31, 2011, at Liberty FreeWill Baptist Church. Rev. Gary Norton, Rev. Terry Bailey, and Rev. John Buchanan will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jim Pickering, Howard Bailey, Allen Bailey, Kyle Bailey, Eddie Bailey, Gary Bailey, Drew Bailey, and Ed

Justice.

Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Signature HealthCARE Center and members of Liberty F. W. B. Church.

The body will remain at Kiser Rose Hill Funeral Home until time for the service. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Kiser Rose Hill Funeral Home.
