He was retired from Shipbuilders as a welder.
He was loved by all who knew him. He had a contagious smile and he never met a stranger. He loved to
fish, camp and most of all he enjoyed country rides with his brother, Johnny, as they would look for
turkeys and deer. He also enjoyed visiting with family and friends. He will be sadly missed by so many.
Survivors include a brother: Johnny Dale Riddle; a special sister-in-law: Clara Montgomery; step-sister: Kay Blackburn; a very special nephew: Troy Taylor and wife, Lisa; several other nieces and nephew: Jessie Morgan, Jason Taylor and wife, Angie, Linda Stiles and husband, Mark, Karlyn Holt, Dawn McDonald, and Joni Riddle; special cousins: Henry Fannon, Johnny Bowman, Bill Hensley, Dale Hensley, Ronnie Hensley, Clifford Hensley, Sissy Hensley, Gary Riddle and Rodney Landers; and very special great nieces and great nephews: Hayleigh, Brandon and Braylen Taylor, whom he loved very much
He was the son of the late Blanco and Macey Riddle and was preceded in death by a brother, George “Ellis” Riddle; two step-brothers, Dean Shelton and Pee Wee Ricker; and step-sisters: Dema Hampton, Shirley Haire and June Woodard.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 8 pm Wednesday in the funeral home chapel.
Rev. Ken Thacker will officiate.
Interment will be 1 pm Thursday at Union Chapel Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at 12 pm Thursday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery for the committal service.
Pallbearers will be Troy Taylor, Jason Taylor, Dale Hensley, Henry Fannon, Johnny Bowman and Dale
Hensley.
