Robert Lynn Rumley

He was born December 12, 1939 in Greencastle, the son of Roy and Wilma (Myers) Rumley.

Bob retired from the Indiana State Farm (Putnamville), where he had worked as a correctional officer. He was a United States Army Veteran and a veteran of the Indiana National Guard.

He is survived by his wife, Audeen Mae (King) Rumley; children, Debra Lynn (husband, Garry) Rigney, Priscilla (husband, Tony) Starr, and Robert (wife, Robin) Rumley Jr.; siblings, Jody Gibson, Brenda Blane, Bill Rumley, Peggy King, David Rumley, Phyllis Hodge, and Debbie Bunten; six grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Edward Lee Rumley; and brothers, Jerry and Timothy Rumley.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Interment with military honors will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
