Lila May Edwards

Lila May Edwards, 87, of Greencastle, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2020. Born February 7, 1933 in Greencastle, she was the daughter of Benjamin and Rosalie (McCutchon) Jarvis and was a graduate of Greencastle High School. Lila was a homemaker and had worked the Putnam Inn Restaurant. She is survived by her children, Sandra Penley (Brian) and Robert Edwards (Patty) Edwards; grandchildren, Jacob (Crystal) Whalen, Jennifer Edwards, Sonya (Casey) Abston, Clay (Annie) Compton, and Brittney Penley; great grandchildren, Jarvis & Chet Abston, Benjamin, Colton, Elizabeth, & Andrew Compton. Lila was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Stephen Edwards; and an infant daughter, Elizabeth Edwards. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
