Tim was born and raised in Greeley. He graduated from Greeley Central High School, served in the U.S. Army and worked as a manager for BestWay Concrete. He loved concrete work and he adored the people he worked with.
Tim’s biggest love was spending time with his family. He would say, “Hugheys don’t get lost, they have adventures”. He also enjoyed fishing, golfing, and a Sunday drive in the mountains.
He is survived by his son, Christopher (Joan) Hughey, daughters, Chelsea (Cody) Kendrick and Amber (Bill) Moellmer; sister, Priscilla Prazma; 7grandchildren, Tim, Nicole, Jayd, Austyn, Kota, Alan and Keith; and 2 great-grandchildren, Willow and Winter.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John Dilka; and sister, Kathleen Grafel.
