Roger E. Anderson, 73, of Eaton, passed away on June 28, 2018. He was born to Leroy G. and B. Marie (Bauman) Anderson on February 16, 1945 in Greeley, CO.
He attended schools in Eaton and LaGrange as well as Colorado State College Lab School.
Roger worked on the family farm until it was sold. He worked with a landscaper, which inspired him to start his own mowing and snow removal business.
Roger was a life member of the Eaton Methodist Church, where he served as an usher for many years. He enjoyed watching car races and working. He never complained and was a friend to everyone he met.
He is survived by his brother Lee (Susan) Anderson of Steamboat Springs; sister’s Elaine Wailes of Ft. Collins and Joyce (Kenneth) Lind of Eaton; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother in law Bill Wailes.
Service will be at 2:00 P.M., Friday, July 27, 2018, at the Eaton United Methodist Church.
