Olivia Lillian Herron

Olivia attended Galeton schools. After her education, she worked on farms in the Galeton and Bracewell areas. She met Art Herron in Denver and they were married on July 15, 1967 in Englewood.

Olivia was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Greeley, St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Buena Vista and most recently a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Greeley.

Olivia was a cook when she lived in Denver and Buena Vista. She loved to cook for her family, especially during Christmas time. She loved to make numerous dishes from scratch. She was an avid Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies fan. Olivia returned to Greeley in 1997 and has been here since.

Olivia is survived by her daughter, Patricia Tracy (Robert) of Greeley; son, Chuck Soria of Farmington, New Mexico; two sisters, Bernice Andrade of Greeley and Cora Scott of Thornton; brother, Angel Alcaraz (Frances) of Brighton; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Bob Soria, sisters, Edna, Angie and Lupe Gomez and brothers, Manuel and Joe.

Visitation will be from 10:00 -11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 21, 2017 followed by Recitation of the Rosary at 11:00 a.m. and Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. all at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Interment Sunset Memorial Gardens.
