Michael "Mike" Doy Neighbors

Mike was born to William D. Neighbors and Ann E. (McKinley) Neighbors in Denver, CO and lived in Golden, CO until 1952 when he moved with his parents to Greeley. He graduated from Greeley Central High and Colorado State University. He worked at McDoy Distributing Company as a route driver and later became managing owner until the distributorship was sold in 1996.

He served on numerous boards, including Boy Scouts of America and the North Colorado Medical Center Board of Directors. He had a great love for his family and his two dogs Nugget and Spirit. He was happiest with his dogs around. Mike was also a man of deep faith and attended Saint Peters Catholic Church.

He is survived by Sally Belisle of Granite Bay, CA, Dan (Chris) Neighbors of Evans, CO, Lisa (Jeff) Isenmann of Rochester Hills, MI, Jennifer (Artie) Geisick of Eaton, CO, Becky (Phil) Wyperd, and Elizabeth, Taylor, Michael and Harper Brighi of Rochester, MI, Samantha and Andrew Geisick of Eaton, CO, and Daniel Wyperd of Greeley, CO.

A private family funeral will be held.

In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions can be made to the Humane Society of Weld County or Saint Peters Catholic Church.
