She was born on May 1, 1933 to Fred Schott Jr and Amelia (Dones) in Hillrose, Colorado where she was also raised. Dorothy attended Kersey High School and graduated in 1952. She married Robert in 1954, and they later divorced in 1963. Throughout her employment, Dorothy was a manager of several businesses. She was also a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church.
In her early years, Dorothy was a great bowler and took home many trophies. She enjoyed crafting and dancing, specifically to Dutch-Hop. Because of her kind heart, Dorothy had a passion for rescuing and taking care of animals of all kinds. She also found great enjoyment when she could cook for others.
Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Bopp and Karyn Kauffman; son, Randy Haskett; sister, Eileen Foster; grandchildren, Nichole Haskett, Kandyce Bopp, Lindsey Page, and Tyler Haskett; and great-grandchildren, Mason Reeve, Niko Rubio, Maverick Page, and Nickolas Haskett.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Herbert and Harry Schott, and her grandchild, Zach Kauffman.
Services are pending at this time.
