Mary Ruth Caroline Sneed was born on March 30, 1934 to Bryant & Ruth McKay in Delta Co., TX and passed away February 19, 2016 in Irving. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Herschell Sneed, brother, Amos McKay and son-in-law, David Whitehead. Mary Ruth is survived by children: Liz Owen & husband Jim, Darlene Hargis & husband Kenny, Patty Whitehead and Linda Prewitt & husband Mark; sister, Marie Chance & husband James; sister-in-law, Patsy Swain; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces & nephews. Visitation is 4-6 p.m. Sunday, February 21, 2016 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 22, 2016 at Foust & Son Funeral Home, 523 S. Main Street, Grapevine, TX 76051, with Rev. Bryan Chance officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Park, Irving, TX.
