Estanislado Martinez (Stan), 81, of Fort Worth, Texas went to be with Our Heavenly Father on February 14th, 2022, surrounded by family at his side. He was born in New Braunfels, TX on May 7th, 1940. He moved around the great state of Texas until settling in Fort Worth circa 1967.
Estanislado was a loving husband and father who is survived by his wife Mary Lou of 56 years, daughters Teresa and husband Daniel, Melissa and husband David, Cynthia and husband Johnny, grandchildren Danny, Mark, Isabel, James, Eric, Andrew, Samantha and Danielle, sister Gloria, brothers Paul and Carlos, as well as a host of great-grandchildren, and extended family.
Estanislado had a passion for his work in construction of 40 years, loved all sports, dancing, and traveling with his family, both state-side and internationally. He loved all animals, from birds to dogs, the latter holding an extra special place in his heart & soul over the years. When it came to fixing the house, the cars, or anything in general, he had a knack of doing so without reliance on others … a very gifted individual. Later in life he enjoyed being outdoors, whether it be hiking, working in the garden/yard, bringing life to old furniture, going to flea-markets, and attending church services.
Estanislado was predeceased by his father Ignacio Martinez, brother Juan Martinez, and granddaughter Alicia Anchondo.
A visitation for Stan will be held Friday, February 25, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at J.E. Foust & Son Funeral Directors, 523 S MAIN ST, GRAPEVINE, TX 76051, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
