My condolences go out to the whole family. Words cannot express the big influence this man has had on my life while growing up! I was raised in a broken home, with no financial resources. He and his family did so much for me, and allowed me experiences I never would of had. Being best friends with Becky, they paid my way--and took me into their home in Monroe, Iowa to stay at their house all summer. I still have many memories of that--and Pastor Anderson's sense of humor!! I'll never forget the love he and his family gave to me. While I was growing up at Newhall Baptist, what I learned there under his ministry has sustained me all these years, and has made me the christian I am today. He baptized me when I was 12 years old. His life showed me the awesome love of Christ, which I am so grateful for. I will never forget him!! May the love of Christ give the peace and comfort to sustain you during this time of loss. Dear Vangie, Becky, Chris, Joe and all.Bob called us last night after getting the message from Doug. We share our love and care to your again at this time. Since last night a caravan of plesant rememberances have been flooding our memories. So very many times Wayne and I have shared coffee and meaningful conversation over sermons we had either read or heard, great Bible texts,or thoughts of Salvation and or victorious Christian living. He was always a most loyal and kind friend to me. We hold him and his family in high honor. The church building in Monroe is one of the quiet tributes to his Pastoral skill. Know we love you. Vangie, As wives you and I shared a special bond these last few years. Tough there were differences, Wayne and Art suffered such emotional pain. As we discussed our roles now and then. you were an encouragement to me and I hope I was to you. I cling to the knowledge that our separation won't be long and their suffering is OVER.

You don't usually get to know your brother's in-laws but the Andersons were special. Not only did they become good friends of my parents they had mutual grand children, of course but I spent many a Christmas and other holidays with them going back to their days in Belding. 
 The first time I met Wayne was in Iowa before they moved to Michigan. Wayne was always an encouragement and the father of a wonderful family. 
 Carol and I share with you in your loss Vangie, Becky, Kris and Joe and grandkids.
