Jo was one of the sweetest women I knew. She has been in our family as long as I can remember. She loved her Lord and her family wholeheartedly. We love you Jo . Rest in Peace.

We send our love and sympathy I'll never forget going to Jo house and practicing music with their family they had a lot of love for one another. They treated us like they're own family. Prayers of comfort to all of you love Kim Ballard McIntyre. Luv you all dearly.

I have had the privilege of knowing this sweet Christian lady for many years. One family particular was a baby shower for Esta amd I won a prize.   My sincere condolences to Estes and the family. May God bless and keep you through this hard time. 

Such a lovely impact this family and especially Jo has had on these young ladies!! So thankful to have known and loved Jo and grateful she loved us right back.  
What a great life she led. Will always cherish the fun memories of so many amborees or getting to just share a meal together, too.  
The 5th Sundays will always have a special place in my heart. 

While my heart aches my spirit is filled with joy!  Thank you Lord for putting Jo in my life.  By her life she taught me how to walk with our Lord.  Now she is in the hands of the man she sang about my favorite song that I asked them to sing I KNOW  A MAN WHO CAN!  Estes I love you dearly n will be praying for God to send His ministering Angels to surround and comfort you! One day we will all be together again! Hallelujah 

So very sorry to hear about Jo.  We loved this family for a long time.  Deepest condolences to the family.

My Sister. We loved each other so much.  I tried to think of something I could write, a poem of some kind; but the words won’t come. So, I decided to post the poem I wrote you for your 75th birthday that I could not attend. I know it is several years old; but I can’t think of anything that would be a better tribute to you than what I have already said. And you have already heard it!

My Beautiful Sister

I wish there were words to tell how I feel,
In a line, a sentence, a phrase, or a spiel.
You mean more to me than mere words can express;
The love between sisters is truly blessed.

Not that brother’s can’t love, they just don’t understand
The closeness we share. Isn’t it grand?
The talks through the nights, the shopping we’ve done;
We’re so much alike, we’re almost like one!

When I was young, I always wanted to be
Just like you in your faith and belief.
You’ve been so strong through distress and grief
That you’ve been my anchor, my lifeline, my strength.

We’re all that is left now, of our family.
Our parents, our brother, have left us to see
That as we travel through life, and the older we grow
Our bond will get stronger, and our feelings will show
That we love each other more than mere words tell.
What else can I say? “You’re older, oh, well!!”

How, there’s a party, just for you, in your honor
To say that “We love you!” and you betcha you’re gonna
Get hugs and kisses and cake and ice cream,
Well wishes, too; and so it would seem
That the least I can do with a sigh is to say
“I wish I was there for your birthday today.”

I’m so blessed to have Jo as my friend. I remember when she got me a job at the woolen mill in Frankenmuth. I tied quilts with the other ladies. She was the seamstress sewing up all the quilts. We had some good times together. There was none like her. We share a son and daughter, grandchildren and soon to be great grandson.   We worshipped together at Otisville .  We have loved being a part of their family and them a part of ours. We have shared a lot of family times together over the years. She has always been there for me. I will miss you forever. Jo. Always loved to hear her sing Jo was a beautiful  lady inside n out ! Wil miss her singing,  but now she will be singing with the angles!

Love and prayers for each of you! Lots of memories from all the years we were neighbors. 

John and I are saddened to hear about Jo's passing...so many dear saints going home, what a reunion will be had when we're together again!
My memories of Jo and Estes go back to Trinity on both Holtslander and Carpenter Roads.  Their joy radiated when they sang and there's not a road trip we take that we don't sing one of their songs!
Miles/states separated, but there was always a smile and a hug when our paths crossed.  Truly one of a kind and will certainly be missed.
May God's presence be felt and please know, you all are in our thoughts and prayers, during this most difficult of times. 

Our hearts are sadden for the passing of Jo. Over the years we the members of Science Hill church of Christ had come to know and love Jo when she and Estes would come visit her sister Charlotte (Jimmy) Alexander . She was a very special lady with a lovely voice. We are sending prayers of comfort to all of the family especially to Jimmy, Charlotte and neice Shelly White
