Born on the Fourth of July in 1996 to Janet and William Linburg, sweet Jenica believed for many years, as a young child, that the patriotic celebrations and fireworks were all for her. She attended Hudsonville High School and then found a career as a caregiver at Georgetown and Cambridge Manor. She dedicated her time to helping others and providing comfort and companionship to those in her care.
Jenica's passions extended beyond her work. She was an avid lover of music and history, finding solace and inspiration in the melodies and stories of the past. Her cats were her cherished companions, and she found joy in the simple pleasure of their company. Jenica's laughter was probably most vibrant when she was with her best friend, sharing moments of pure happiness. Her nephews, Wyatt and Grayson, were the apples of her eye and she reveled in the role of being their loving aunt.
Those who knew Jenica would describe her as a gentle soul, and her memory will be treasured in the hearts of her family and friends. Jenica's journey through life reminds us all to cherish the moments we have, spread kindness wherever we go, and to remember to check in on our loved ones often. She will be profoundly missed and we can only hope that she is finally at peace.
Jenica is preceded in death by her mother, Janet Linburg and father, William Linburg. She is survived by siblings Megan (Don) Katsma, Joshua (Desiree) Linburg, William Linburg Jr., and Uriah (Lynnae) Guffie.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, April 8, 2024 at Cook Memorial Chapel, 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI.
