Dawn Marie Browne, age 49 of Jenison, Michigan died May 25, 2024, surrounded by family. Born January 25, 1975, in California, Dawn was the oldest of Mary Camfferman (Evans) and Fred Camfferman. Dawn graduated from Byron Center High School in 1993, enjoying both cheerleading and track. She then went on to marry the love of her life, Todd Browne. Together they raised five children.
She worked as a real estate agent, taking responsibility for every interaction and helping others take the right path when buying or selling a home. As much as she loved helping others, she also loved being at home, gardening, reading historical biographies, listening to 80s music, cooking, and spending time with her family. She was someone who had a grace and compassion unlike any other.
She is survived by her husband, Todd Browne; children Morgan Kuit, Jasmine Hernandez, Jonathan Hernandez, Ethan Hernandez, Isaac Hernandez; one grandchild, Michael Kuit; and many extended relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 30, 2024 at Cook Funeral Home (West Building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI 49418. A funeral service celebrating Dawn’s life will be held 11 a.m. Friday, May 31, 2024 at Jenison Bible Church, 6360 14th Ave., Hudsonville, MI 49426, with visitation from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Pastor Mark Bouslog will be officiating. Dawn will be laid to rest at Georgetown Cemetery. In memory of Dawn and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jenison Bible Church.
