Catherine Reid passed away June 10, 2023. She is preceded in death by father and mother Matthew and Catherine Smith; husband, Robert Reid; grandson, Jason A. Branch; sisters Margaret, Rosina, Alexandra (Lexie); and son-in-law, Bruce J. Ingersoll. She is survived by daughters Catherine (Marvin) Branch and Sheila Reid-Ingersoll; grandchildren Andrew (Miranda) Branch, Alexander Ingersoll, and Alaina Ingersoll; step-granddaughter, Alethea (Scott) Simons; great-grandson, Landon; brother, Thomas Smith; several nieces and nephews.
Catherine was born in Glasgow, Scotland; she immigrated to America with her family in 1957. She enjoyed reading, cooking, baking, sewing, word puzzles, bowling, travel, singing, and dancing. (She was her own "Molly Maid" - she loved to clean!) Most of all, she loved her grandchildren. Throughout her life, she was a fashionista – working 20 plus years as manager of Beverly’s Retail in Rogers Plaza. She was an extremely independent person.
