Gladys Mohart

Gladys Mohart, 87, of Belton, MO formerly of Raytown, MO passed away March 29, 2015. Memorial visitation 11-12 noon, Celebration of life 12:00 pm Saturday, April 4 at McGilley & George Funeral Home 12913 Grandview Rd in Grandview. Inurnment in the Columbarium in the Belton Cemetery. Contributions are suggested to Alzheimer’s Association.

Gladys was born September 20, 1927 in East Providence, RI to Jesse and Mary Perry. She was a homemaker and very active in the Eastern Star. Gladys was with Orient, Swope Park and East Gate Masonic Lodges. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star of the Grand Chapter of Missouri. Gladys received Grand Presentation of Virginia in Missouri 1996-1997. She was a member of Independence Assembly of Beauiceant. She served as Worthy Matron 3 different terms in Eastern Star.

Preceded in death by husband William Mohart in 1998, brothers Joe, Jesse, Eddie and sister Dorothy. Survived by son Tim and wife Esther Mohart, Blue Springs MO; daughter Mary and husband Tim Tarpley, Belton MO; sister Delores Colantonio, Warrick RI; grandchildren Darren and wife Kristen, Anthony, Andrew, and Savannah Mohart, Hope and husband Charles Carter, Taylor and Tiffany Tarpley; 3 great grandchildren Emma, Kayla and Brody Mohart and many loving niece and nephews.
