Michael James Storey

Michael James "Mike" Storey, age 53, of Ada, passed away from Glioblastoma brain cancer Saturday, January 1, 2022. He was preceded in death by his father George James Storey in 1977 and baby sister Marcia Ann Storey in 1964. He is survived by his daughters Sarah and Emily Storey, his mother Mary Jane Storey, sister Michelle Storey; mother of his children Kathy Brand Storey; a large extended family and many dear friends. Mike will be missed by the family pets Boston and Finn. Mike graduated from Comstock Park High School in 1986 and Aquinas College in 1990 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. He was a talented artist and worked in the field of graphic and digital design; most recently as a Digital Marketing Specialist at Amway.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 7, 2022, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 224 Carrier St NE, Grand Rapids, with Fr. Rick Potts, C.S.s.R. celebrant. The family will receive visitors at the church one hour before the Mass.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Aquinas College Fine Arts Department or Faith Hospice Trillium Woods.
