Martin Dale Oliver

Martin Dale Oliver-Gould age 57 of Grand Rapids MI passed away peacefully at home on Friday June 19, 2020. Martin was born March 12, 1963 in Dearborn Heights, MI. Martin is survived by his husband John Gould. His stepchildren John, Anna and Tina. Plus grandchildren and great grandchildren. Martin was preceded in death by his parents Willie (Gene) Oliver & Frances (Jaciuk) Oliver and siblings Frances Ann Foshee, Robert Oliver and Theresa (Oliver) Sakkinen. Martin is survived by his siblings (twin sister) Martha (Oliver) Swartz (Bill Hildebrandt), Michael Oliver (Cindy), Gary Oliver (Gayle), Nancy Walker (Randy) & Margaret Sheppard (Tony). Many nieces and nephews and host of relatives. Martin will always be remembered as St Nick by many people everywhere. He volunteered with underprivileged children as well as local children’s hospitals, bringing a smile to everyone he met. Martin was a member of Michigan Association of Professional Santas. Martin & his husband John participated yearly in many of the community Native American events. He had many many friends & Martin’s heart of gold will be greatly missed by everyone.
