Marilyn was a graduate of Creston High school and went on to become a devoted wife and mother to her family. She married her sweetheart, Darrell L. Hosford in 1952 and the couple spent 50 wonderful years together until his passing in 2002. In her free time she enjoyed going to casinos, traveling, working in her yard planting flowers, going out to eat, and watching the Detroit Lions. She and her daughter, Kathy, had a close relationship and would always spend time together. They would take trips every year and often went on cruises to Hawaii and the Caribbean. She also cherished her family time on the holidays, especially with her daughter, Susan. The two always made sure to make every birthday and holiday a special one. Marilyn would always do whatever she could to help others. She was always giving her time or making donations to charities. She loved her family and was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her son, Scott, and his wife, Kristy, watching the grandchildren at all of their events, making sure to always cheer them on from the sidelines. Her kind spirit and giving nature will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
