Judith Kae Goodwin, age 70, of Grand Rapids, passed away early Friday, October 9, 2015. Judy was born in the spring of 1945 in Marion, Michigan to John & Grace Ebels. She is preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Harold Ebels. Judy will be sadly missed by her husband of 46 years, Walter, their children, Mike (Mandi) Goodwin and Kate (Dan) Teske; grandchildren, James Lyon, Robin Lyon, and Tess Teske. Also surviving are sisters, Shirley Mulder and Karen (Brad) Van Haitsma, and a brother, John (Muriel) Ebels.
Judy was known for her green thumb and her deep and lifelong love for her lord Jesus Christ. She was a blessing to everyone she came in contact with and was considered a mother, mentor and friend to many. A Memorial Service to celebrate Judith’s life is scheduled for 12 o’clock on October 14th, 2015 at Sunshine Community Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to Pregnancy Resource Center at 415 Cherry St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49506.
