Josue Enrique Lorenzo, age 27, passed away on May 30, 2024 after a fierce and brave battle with cancer. He was born in Providence, Rhode Island on June 13, 1996 and grew up in Kentwood where he attended the area schools.
He worked for Tyson Foods Company, only stepping back when his health no longer allowed him to do the job.
A man of many hobbies, he enjoyed both the quiet peacefulness of fishing, but equally loved the sound of a loud revving sports car. Josue was avid soccer fan, especially cheering for his favorite team, Barcelona.
Most importantly, Josue will be remembered for his kind heart, humble manner, great faith and respectful nature.
Josue is survived by his wife, Vilma Sales and their daughter, Maribel; his mother Maria Lorenzo-Solis; his father Domingo Ramos-Gutierrez; his sister Luz Ramos-Lorenzo and his brother Anderson Ramos-Lorenzo as well as many other family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 2, 2024 from 11:00am to 3:00pm at Reyers North Valley Chapel, 2815 Fuller Ave NE. Grand Rapids, MI 49505.
