Jerry was a parishioner of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church for many years and was a member of the West Michigan Wood Carvers, he also taught carving through community education and at St. Alphonsus Senior Activities Group every Wednesday morning. He was also a member of the River City Wild Ones and several herb groups. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He worked as a mechanic and enjoyed rock collecting, gardening, cooking, wood working, and Michigan football and tailgates. He was very involved in the Boy Scouts - not only in his childhood, but also with his children. Jerry was a loving, caring, and well-liked man who will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Jerry was preceded in death by: parents, John and Grace Randall.
Jerry is survived by: wife of 58 years, Bonnie Jean Elizabeth Randall; children, Kirk (Colleen) Randall, Kyle Randall, Kris (Kimberly) Randall, and Kipp Randall; grandchildren, Alyssa, Patrick, Samantha, Seth, and Zoee; sisters, Evalyn Gust, Virginia (Hugh) Eisen, and Joan Jackson; as well as, many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Visitation will be held at Reyers North Valley Chapel on Thursday, June 8, 2023 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm with a Rosary service beginning at 7:30pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial with Military Honors, officiated by Father Chung, will be held at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church on Friday, June 9, 2023 at 11:00am. The family will welcome guests one hour prior to the start of mass. A luncheon will be provided at the church following the mass.
